It is Mother’s Day! Of course their only joy is to see you happy, but let’s face it a gift wouldn’t go a miss…

I have collected the greatest gift ideas and brought them to you in this blog so you can impress the woman who brought you into this world (aka mum).

It is a given, but FLOWERS are the perfect gift. With the spring season upon us, and the stores being filled with Mother’s Day ideas, there are beautiful choices out there. I was at Selfridges yesterday, and amongst the mania, I noticed Phillipa Cradock has now been replaced by one of my personal favourite florists, ‘Moyses Stevens’. Their bouquets are pieces of art…they use unique flowers and their service can be tailored to you. Of course, we could not discuss flowers without mentioning the fabulous ‘Aoyama flower market’. This is where my Valentine’s Day rose came from, and trust me, they will not disappoint! Also found in Selfridges, hidden amongst the Designer bags you will find this Japanese florist. They have a ‘Flower of the day’ that is available daily in stores. Their ideas come from the much-celebrated love of flowers in Japanese culture.

SWEET THINGS will never be unappreciated. You can pair this up with some flowers or any other gift in mind. Go wild with this; Artisan Du chocolat, Charbonnel, Laduree and the list goes on.
